Five Americans try to take in all of what is Helsinki in two hours. Despite its apparent simplicity, “Helsinki in Two Hours” manages to be a travelogue, a very funny little flick, and a scathing cultural commentary at one.

Put your seatbelts on and enjoy the ride.

The latest released Finger Movies production is an excercise in genre-busting.

Having done drama, action, scifi, mystery, documentary, and what not, the Finger chaps are now entering the dark world of horror. And we don’t mean cheap, flashy splatter, either. (That is mainly because of the budget, or rather, the lack thereof, but that is really besides the point.)

The Box is classic psychological terror, albeit with a twist. Money, greed, and a mysterious stranger are all involved. And some black goo. Can’t have a horror movie without black goo.

The moral of the story? As our favourite literal character, Jerry Cotton, used to say: “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”

The big kahuna of Finnish surf movies is finally here! Will Pekka, Antti, Kalevi, and Timo stand the big one? Will Papi’s dark past come back to haunt him? How long will the infamous kissing scene last? Is the Big One just a tired metaphor?

All these and many other burning questions will be answered in this truly epic arctic surf flick.

It has epic waves.

It has epic wipeouts.

It has epic babes.

In one word: it is not too shabby.

The image quality is crappy. The sound quality is even crappier. Editing… we don’t even want to talk about the editing.

Normally, this movie would be below even our publishing standards. And, if you have watched any of our movies, you are bound to know that the standards are pretty darn low.

But, we felt duty-bound and even honoured to publish The Wireless Curtain. It is an important movie. With a capital K.

Wireless Curtain tells about the shocking truth about the wireless miracle of Finland and what really happens in Nokialand.

The film crew worked in nearly inhuman conditions and only narrowly escaped incarceration, beating, and possibly even worse in the jackbooted hands of the state police.

This is Finger Dada at its best.

The movie is called “The Song of Leo”, but there is no song. Nor is there anyone named Leo in the film. And we don’t have any clue what the guys in the movie are supposed to be doing.

But the rest is pure genius.

Well, not quite. But cameramen can be actors and vice versa.

During the filming of Kontakt, the cameraman made an innocent-sounding comment about wanting to be in front of the camera for a change.

In true Finger Movies spirit his wish was granted and the cameraman was turned into a leading man with the original star of the film cranking the camera handle.

The results are here for you to enjoy – reversing roles can really spice up your love life sometimes!

This early mockumentary masterpiece tells the moving story of the band Prettymama.

These long-distance runners of rock’n'roll business discuss their lives and careers, while also remembering their drummer “Big-Pasi”, who passed away in a tragic accident just months before the filming. Contains three songs.

What more can be said about a movie that spawned seven books, eight Macadam Awards, five slander lawsuits, and a political crisis?

Actually, quite a bit. Pimps 24/7 was supposed to be a Zwischen- arbeit: a light hearted, not-so-serious romp in after Finger Movies’ two major productions, Waiting for the Big One and The Box.

Well, it turned out that the project started a life of its own. It was made before either of the major productions. What started as a bit of good, clean fun, turned into a dark and twisted tale of friendship, murder, and, finally, redemption. And, of course, of Jamal Rassoul.

Pimps 24/7 has rightfully assumed a central place in the Finger Movies pantheon and keeps winning over fans in Nauru Islands, Tuvalu, and East Timor.
